I had the pleasure of being introduced to these guys at Fire in the Mountains and found them a great complement to their fellow headliners Eternal Champion: Where Eternal Champion is maybe a little more mysterious, winding and serpentine, Visigoth is bombastic and huge, armor-clad clangor. Loved the tasty trad melodies and huge vocal harmonies; this record has left my blood boiling and my soul ready to charge into battle. The only thing it’s missing is Andy on drums!
Favorite track: Warrior Queen.
